Yes this is actually paper! It may be rock hard and wearable, but it is actually made with paper.
I love maps, old and new, maybe it’s the colours, maybe the lines, but I find them inspiring. The extra large statement brooch had an extra large blue button on the middle and in encrusted with glass stones to give it some bling. I make these in all sorts of sizes and make them in to badges, pins and earrings.
This piece received an award in the Goldsmiths’ Craft and Design Awards.
